Summer Art Therapy Program for Women

Studio E: The Epilepsy Art Therapy Program returns this summer to provide women with epilepsy the opportunity to express themselves through art.

This 8-week program meets every Thursday evening (6pm-8pm) – beginning on Thursday, August 3 and ending on Thursday, September, 21. The program will take place at Brush Strokes & Beverages Studio in Long Beach, CA.

Studio E offers group art therapy sessions for individuals with epilepsy, allowing them to explore their creativity, meet others with epilepsy and express themselves in an open, accepting and safe group setting.

Participants work with a trained art therapist to create artistic pieces using a variety of artistic mediums to help relieve stress, increase self-esteem, as well as learn from others in an open, welcoming environment.

Studio E is offered for free thanks to our sponsor, Lundbeck. No prior art experience is needed. Limited space is available. RSVP is required. Please note that this upcoming program is for women with epilepsy.
