Congratulations to Marc Evans, President of Paramount Pictures Motion Picture Group and our Care+Cure Honoree, shown here with the event co-chairs, Mark Borman and Andrew Gumpert, at the Care+Cure Benefit in Beverly Hills on May 2, 2017. It was moving to hear one of Hollywood’s power players as he shared his experience visiting the epilepsy clinic at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and seeing the impact the Care and Cure has on the families affected.
The importance of having access to specialty care is demonstrated through the stories shared during our annual Care+Cure Benefit dinner. Over 12 years, the benefit has funded 26 pediatric epilepsy fellowships in the region. As a result, the pediatric epilepsy community has not only dedicated more talent and resources, but has also shared their knowledge in other places, as evident in Dr. Numis’ work at UCSF. This year, we featured Gracie and Annabella’s journeys to finding seizure freedom. Watch how their lives changed due to the support from the Care and Cure Benefit to End Epilepsy® in Children.
Thank you to the current and past Care+Cure Honorees and all the donors who make a difference through Care+Cure/Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Los Angeles.
